Feature, Layout, Chain, & Output Type Configurations
Every PageBuilder module—all of which we'll discuss in depth in just a few pages—has a JSON configuration file that contains essential information about how to render and set up the component.
Let's navigate to the configurations screen now. To get there, look for "Configurations" under the Developer Tools menu.
The Configurations screen lets us keep our PageBuilder admin up to date with the config files that have been deployed to the environment.
In other words, the configurations screen is a link between the PageBuilder admin and the files on our server.
If this is the first time you've used your environment, the configurations screen will be blank. Once you've loaded things into your environment, however, you'll be able to view the config files for every individual PageBuilder component.

These are Feature Configs. However, you can also access a dropdown menu by clicking the inverted caret icon that will allow you to reload configurations for chains, layouts, and output types.
